Doorstep Program
The Doorstep Program focuses on the development of a child’s communication, social interaction and self-regulation by incorporating functional, behavioral, and social strategies into fun and innovative learning activities. The goal of the program is to create social situations for children to utilize these functional strategies and to increase self-confidence.
Sibshops
Sibshops creates an opportunity for siblings of children with special needs to meet one another. Sibshops are a spirited mix of new games (designed to be unique, innovative, and appealing to a wide ability range), new friends, and discussion activities. Sibshops acknowledge that being the sibling of a person with special needs can be a challenge, but it can also be very rewarding. They reflect a belief that brothers and sisters have much to ffer one another---if they are given a chance.
SENSible Training
SENSible training is a behavior consulting service for child care providers. The goal of SENSible training is to teach new, sensory-based strategies that help children within the child care setting. SENSible training helps providers analyze their environment to encourage successful child development.
Community Carryover Services
Community carryover offers an opportunity to provide community involvement on a one-on-one basis. The goal of this service is to provide parents with functional strategies that can be transferred to community environments with the support of a professional.
